GC Habitat Home Store
The GC Habitat Home Store is a non-profit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, house wares and home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. It is a good deal for you, our community and the environment.
Think of us next time you de-clutter, renovate, remodel or redecorate. Donate so that others may re-purpose and recycle items you no longer want or need. GC Habitat proudly owns the Habitat Home Store which is staffed 100% by amazing volunteers. Proceeds are used to build houses and turn them into homes for hardworking, deserving, low-income families.

Volunteer at the GC Habitat Home Store
From customer service, donation pick-ups, to furniture repair, the Habitat Home Store offers volunteer opportunities to meet a variety of individual interests and skills.
GC Habitat volunteers at both on the construction site and in the Habitat Home Store are helping Garrett County families in need of a decent house to call home.
16 years of age and older can volunteer at the Home Store for Service Learning hours. Also if someone needs Community Service hours, they may volunteer at the store.
We are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 AM – 2 PM, closed Sunday & Monday. For details about ways to get involved, call 301-533-2180 and come put your talents to work for Habitat. If you have donations please call 301-533-2180 to schedule pick-up.
